Brooke R. Ginty
Brooke’s authenticity, down-to-earth approach, and ability to relay the law in language everyone can understand sets her apart from her peers.
She concentrates her practice on family law, including divorce, child custody, support, grey divorce, grandparent custody rights, and personal injury. For the past five (5) years, Brooke’s peers in the legal community have nominated her for the prestigious award of “Mainline Today Top Lawyer.”
Being involved in a lawsuit, divorce, or custody matter is a nerve-wracking, stressful, uncertain experience. Brooke strives to ensure her clients know exactly what is happening, in terms they can understand, at all times. As a result, you can rest assured that Brooke will listen to you, understand your needs, and work toward the most beneficial outcome possible, taking into account not only the facts of your case but the emotional toll litigation can bring. The balance is not just about “winning,” but approaching any scenario with a keen, rational, calm eye to provide a path toward the end result of a happy, healthy, life on the other side of litigation. If there is a resolution to be had, that works for each party (and children when involved), Brooke wants to find it. But when litigation is necessary, you will be in the hands of a prepared, respectful, talented litigation attorney who can relay your side of the story to any decision maker so he/she fully understands what her client wants and why.
Brooke has been a resident of Phoenixville since 2009 and recently moved her law office to West Chester to partner with Ashley and Wesley. She lives in the Borough with her husband and two young children and is an active member of the community. Brooke is on the Board of Directors of the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation and a founding member of Phoenixville’s Human Relations Commission where she assisted in writing the local code. She is General Counsel to the Mayor’s Train Task Force, now known as Steel City Rail, an initiative to bring train service to Phoenixville. Phoenixville’s Mayor, Peter Urscheler, lovingly calls her “The Attorney to the Stars,” (Phoenixville’s Stars, that is) a designation she’s happy to accept because helping her community and those in need is her calling.
Brooke is also the Solicitor for the Clerk of Courts of Chester County, Yolanda Van de Krol, since she took office in 2018.
Brooke is a graduate of Lafayette College in Easton, PA where she created her own major, “Philosophy of Legal Rights.” After she earned her degree, she attended Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, MA. She spent her final year at Villanova Law School as a visiting student so she could continue working for the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and begin to plant her roots back in Pennsylvania.
Here is what Brooke’s clients have said about her services:
“Brooke has represented me through a very difficult and complicated custody matter. She has been responsive and diligent in her representation – always giving me levelheaded advice while maintaining compassion for me, my children, and even my ex-husband. She is sharp & strategic in her ability to navigate the tortuous world of Family Court. She can be assertive while also keeping professional decorum, ethics, and the best interest of the children front & center. I respect her deeply both as an attorney and as a person. I would highly recommend her as a trusted advisor and advocate.” – C.E. (Google)
